Our annual review 2007 covers our global organisation and presents  the financial information, all our projects, publications and achievements.

This publication sets the global standard in presenting estimates of the numbers and trends of waterbird populations throughout the world. This fourth edition provides a comprehensive update on information last provided in 2002 and summarizes population data on 878 waterbird species.

Attached the recommendations on the draft resolutions of the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands COP 10, 28 October till 4 November 2008 in Korea.

The report provides the most recent estimates of population sizes of migratory shorebirds in the East Asian - Australasian Flyway and identifies internationally important sites by species and country.

The leaflet contains information on the important wetland site of Vinogradovskaya (Faustovskaya) Floodplain in the Moscow region. It covers the aspects of wetland wise use and conservation, and provides practical recommendations on measures to conserve the waterbird habitats in the area. The leaflet is targeted at decision-makers and agricultural managers and will be circulated to all land users in the floodplain and ajacent areas.

The brochure contains information on the internationally important wetland site of Vinogradovskaya (Faustovskaya) Floodplain of the Moskva River, including a map of the area, with the boundary of Moskvoretsky Wildlife Refuge indicated, pictures of water birds that occur at the site, with information on protected species, description of threats to the site's ecological character and recommendations on measures that help to conserve the floodplain biodiversity. This publication is mainly targeted at sport hunters, fishermen and other people involved in outdoor recreation in the Moscow region.

This report shows the status of Waterbirds in North Africa, Europe and Western Asia. This is the first time that factual distrubution maps are displayed of a wide range of waterbirds in this region. This publication helps to take the right decisions regarding wetland areas and waterbirds
