Our annual review 2007 covers our global organisation and presents  the financial information, all our projects, publications and achievements.

In 2020, Africa is expected to produce a relatively small but substantial part of the global biofuel demand. Millions of hectares will be turned into large scale biofuel plantations. Especially natural areas of wetlands and rainforest – the hotspots for biodiversity - are vulnerable for this development.

This publication brings together a wealth of information on Anatidae (swans, geese and ducks) in Africa and Eurasia, in the form of maps and text.

This video shows images from the Inner Niger Delta in Mali, Africa and interviews with local farmers and fishermen andwomen on how the water of the Nioger River can be better used and how climate change has an impact on their livelihoods. Click here to see the video online.

Dans ce document , nous soulignons nos recommendations pour les Résolutions de la Convention Ramsar COP 10 en République de Corée qui a lieu du 28 Octobre au 4 Novembre 2008.

Attached the recommendations on the draft resolutions of the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands COP 10, 28 October till 4 November 2008 in Korea.

This recommendation brochure is the culmination of a lengthy process ofexchanges and discussions between wetlands and ibodiversity specialists, representatives of government agencies and ministries, and representatives of non-governmental organisations and key environmental institutions from five countries (Mauritania, Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea Bissau and Mali).

Le PRCM est un partenariat entre la Fondation internationale du Banc d’Arguin (FIBA), l’Union mondiale pour la Nature (UICN), Wetlands international, le WWF et la Commission sous régionale des Pêches (CSRP). Le PRCM qui couvre sept pays côtiers de l’Afrique de l’Ouest (Mauritanie, Sénégal, Gambie, Guinée, Guinée Bissau, Cap Vert et Sierra Leone) a pour objectif de coordonner les efforts de conservation développés sur le littoral des pays concernés.

Counts by thousands of volunteers havetaken place troughout Africa every year since 1991. The results of these annual counts are presented in this pubication, providing an unique insight in the status of the African Waterbird Populations.
